Vivien B. Deitz, a licensed clinical social worker, has been known throughout her career for her unique ability to promote self-awareness, understanding, and growth – helping people improve the quality of their lives through individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, self-help training, and psycho-educational seminars. At present, she manages a private practice in North Bethesda, Maryland.
After receiving her RN degree from Temple University Hospital School of Nursing, Vivien went on to receive her BS from the University of Maryland at College Park and her MSW from The Catholic University of America. Her post-graduate training began at the Washington School of Psychiatry, a two-year psychodynamic Group Psychotherapy program. Subsequently, her travels took her internationally to be trained by renowned therapists, shamans, and other holistic practitioners and nationally with Lisa Ferentz’s LCSW-C’s Advanced Trauma Training.
With the integration of her traditional and holistic trainings, Vivien’s unique therapy offers clients a healing opportunity to reconnect to their own mind, body, and soul energies. She helps people to become curious and remember “The Geography of their Soul,” an internal landscape of one’s life.
Her supportive, open, and effective techniques and masterful therapeutic skills have proven invaluable to many people.
